Every great idea starts with a problem. Ours started with a wedding guest list and a nagging question: "What are our guests going to do for two hours while we’re off taking photos?"

When we were planning our own wedding, we knew we wanted something different. We loved the idea of a beautiful celebration, but we were desperate to avoid that awkward gap between the ceremony and the reception where guests are left standing around with small talk and a drink.

The UK Inspiration

While looking for unique entertainment ideas online, we came across the concept of portable mini-golf in the UK. It was sophisticated, interactive, and looked like a total hit. It was exactly what we wanted for our day: a high-quality activity that looked great in photos and got people mingling.

The only problem? When we started searching for portable mini-golf hire in South East Queensland, we hit a wall. There were no local options that offered the level of quality and style we were looking for.

If You Can’t Find It, Build It

We were convinced that mini-golf was the perfect wedding icebreaker that we decided to take matters into our own hands.

We spent months designing and building our own custom course, many late nights and early mornings around our day jobs were spent building, painting, and theming the course to perfection.

From Our Big Day to Yours

The moment of truth came on our wedding day. People who had never met were suddenly teammates, and was a great way to break down those social barriers.

After the wedding, the feedback didn't stop. Guests kept telling us how much they loved the putt-putt and asked where we hired it from. That’s when we realised that if everyone loved it this much, other couples across South East Queensland would too.

And so, Patrick Putts was born.

Today, we’ve traded the DIY wedding planning for a business adventure. We’ve refined our courses to be professional, portable, and pretty enough for the most luxury venues. Whether you're getting married in a Maleny hinterland garden, a Gold Coast beachfront, or a Brisbane city loft, we bring the fun directly to you.
